At Sandaime Kei, we proudly serve A5-grade kuroge wagyu—premium Japanese Black beef known for its exceptional marbling and flavor. Rather than limiting ourselves to a specific brand, I personally select the best cuts available at the time, based on quality and condition.

Sandaime Kei is a refined teppanyaki restaurant located just minutes from Ueno and Yushima Stations. Specializing in A5-grade wagyu, the restaurant carefully selects the finest cuts of beef available each day.

The warm, modern interior features natural wood elements and soft lighting, creating a relaxed, hidden-away atmosphere ideal for a special meal. Counter seating offers an immersive teppanyaki experience, where you can watch each dish being expertly prepared before your eyes. All meals are served as a multi-course kaiseki menu, and reservations are required to ensure a calm and personalized dining experience.

The restaurant focuses on sourcing the highest-quality A5-grade kuroge wagyu, chosen not by brand but by the condition and texture of each cut. Seasonal availability guides the selection, ensuring each dish is served at its peak.

Signature dishes include the popular uni-toro, a creative pairing of sea urchin and fatty wagyu, as well as other seasonal items that highlight both traditional technique and modern flair. At the counter, guests can enjoy the full sensory experience of teppanyaki alongside the aroma, the sound of grilling, and the visual presentation for a memorable dining experience.
