A message from the Chef

At Wasyoku Hako, we’re proud to offer a taste of Japan’s Tohoku region—something that’s not often found in Tokyo. Our menu features carefully selected ingredients like vegetables from Aomori, fresh seafood from the Sanriku coast, and premium A5-grade Wagyu and Sendai beef. Each dish is gently grilled over charcoal to bring out the natural flavors. With a foundation in traditional Japanese techniques and an eye for refined presentation, we aim to create meals that are as beautiful as they are delicious. We invite you to unwind and enjoy a quiet moment in our warm, modern Japanese space!

Course Menu
Featuring Tohoku Region Ingredients
90% of the vegetables used as Wanosyoku Hako are sourced directly from trusted producers across the Tohoku region.
Vegetables come from contracted farms in Aomori, while our seafood is freshly delivered from fishing ports along the Sanriku coast. Even staples like rice, miso, and soy sauce are carefully chosen from regional producers, ensuring every dish reflects the spirit of Tohoku.
One highlight is the premium A5-grade Sendai beef, renowned for its fine marbling, melt-in-your-mouth texture, and rich, mellow flavor. At Wanosyoku Hako, the chefs approach every ingredient with respect and care, bringing out the true essence of traditional Japanese cuisine.
