    The restaurant asks that all guests within the same group select the same kaiseki dinner course. This is to ensure that all guests are able to enjoy each dish in its freshest state, and, as each dish is prepared one-by-one, everyone is able to savor their kaiseki dinner together.

    A pre-authorization means a "hold" on the total amount (fee) for your kaiseki dinner while the restaurant checks their table availability.
    If a table is available, your debit or credit card will be charged for the total amount. If there is no table available, the hold will be released.
