8-Course Teppanyaki Dinner – Featuring A5 Wagyu Chateaubriand

20,400 yen / per person (service charge & tax incl.)

A message from the Chef

I want to express the possibilities of teppanyaki in my own way. After training at renowned hotels, I opened Jibunryu Teppanyaki Tesshin in 2009 to bring that vision to life.

The true joy of teppanyaki is in its live experience — watching ingredients transform right before your eyes. I value talking with each guest to adjust the ingredients and cooking style to their taste. My wish is for my customers to enjoy premium ingredients like wagyu beef in a relaxed, enjoyable setting. “Jibunryu,” or “my style,” represents the freedom to create teppanyaki that reflects each guest’s own preferences.

About

Located just a one-minute walk from Shinjuku-sanchome Station, Jibunryu Teppanyaki Tesshin is a reservations-only restaurant tucked away like a hidden retreat in the heart of Tokyo. Behind its quiet entrance, guests step into a serene, modern Japanese space designed for comfort and intimacy.

At the counter surrounding the teppan grill, diners can watch the chef’s precise techniques up close. Hear the sizzle, take in the aroma, and watch each dish come to life right before your eyes. This teppanyaki restaurant offers an inviting yet refined atmosphere perfect for special occasions or a relaxed evening out. Known for serving rare cuts such as A5 Kuroge Wagyu Chateaubriand, Tesshin combines a sense of exclusivity with a warm, personal touch.

Menu

Locally-Sourced Ingredients

Jibunryu Teppanyaki Tesshin specializes in teppanyaki courses that highlight the natural flavors of each ingredient, from A5 Kuroge Wagyu Chateaubriand to the daily fish meunière. Rather than relying on butter or flambé for show, the chef focuses on simplicity and precision to bring out true depth of flavor.

Every dish reflects the chef’s “Jibunryu” style: a balance of classic teppanyaki technique and personal innovation born from years of experience. In addition to course meals, an à la carte menu features daily specials and rare cuts of meat not often seen elsewhere. At the counter seating, guests can enjoy the sights, sounds, and aromas of teppanyaki!
