I am originally from Tochigi Prefecture, and decided to become a chef partly in due to my love of kitchen knives created by Japanese craftsmen! I decided to open this Kyoto restaurant in 2017 with the idea of serving authentic Japanese cuisine that can be enjoyed by everyone. Our dishes not only feature ingredients from Kyoto, but also seasonal ingredients sent to us from farmers I personally know from my hometown in Tochigi.
We hope you enjoy our soba noodles, which is all handmade in the restaurant, top-grade Tochigi wagyu beef, and more.
As you enter the restaurant through the noren entrance curtain, you will be welcomed by the warmth of wood. This Japanese restaurant, which offers a cozy & relaxing atmosphere, can be found a short walk from downtown Kyoto and the Kyoto Imperial Palace.
Experience a kaiseki dinner that includes authentic soba noodles, which is handmade within the restaurant, and top-grade Tochigi wagyu beef. Tochigi wagyu beef, which cannot often be found in the Kansai region, has a tender, melt-in-your-mouth flavor sure to impress all of your senses. Enjoy a kaiseki course dinner that includes appetizers featuring seasonal vegetables, fresh sashimi, tempura, and many a variety of authentic Japanese dishes.
