I think I have a unique career that led to me becoming a sushi chef. Before becoming a sushi chef, I worked as a pastry chef, and also worked as a chef at a Western-style restaurant. I’ve also been in charge of auctions at a fish wholesale market, so you can trust my expertise in selecting quality fish. At my restaurant, we handle a variety of fish, including those that are unique to the local areas from Hokkaido in the north to Kyushu in the south. As our sushi restaurant has only 10 seats, please savor your experience at your own pace without any time constraints.
This sushi restaurant uses carefully selected seafood from fishing ports all across Japan. The collaboration of skilled sushi chefs, Japanese cuisine experts, and fishermen, brings to life your sushi kaiseki dinner. Enjoy the exquisite courses featuring Edo-style nigiri sushi by seasoned artisans and thoughtfully prepared dishes. Nestled in the historical Gion neighborhood, savor freshly prepared sushi and more during your time in Kyoto city.
