What I’m most proud of at our restaurant is that each of our guests gets to enjoy their meal in complete privacy. Our private rooms offer a peaceful space where you can truly relax and enjoy your time, whether you’re here with family, friends, or colleagues.

We keep it intimate with only 4 reservations a day, so you’ll never feel rushed. And we love welcoming families with children—everyone can feel comfortable and enjoy the seasonal dishes made with the freshest local ingredients. About

Located right in front of Omicho Market, Kokochiya is a refined Japanese restaurant is housed in a beautifully restored Kanazawa machiya, originally built in the 1930s. The entire space consists of private dining rooms, with only 4 groups accommodated per day, ensuring a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. While carefully renovated for comfort, the space retains the charm of traditional Japanese architecture, offering guests a glimpse into the past as they dine.

Only the freshest ingredients are used, all directly sourced from Omicho Market, ensuring seasonal and fresh dishes year-round. The kaiseki courses offered provide the perfect balance of fresh local seafood and meat dishes, allowing guests to experience the best of both. Featuring Ishikawa’s fresh seafood, seasonal vegetables, and meats, dining here promises an unforgettable experience.
