The chefs at this sushi restaurant take pride in not only the freshness of their sushi, but where their ingredients are sourced from. To ensure that customers are able to taste the best of the best, fresh seafood is purchased directly from the fish markets located at ports along coastal Japan.

Find the freshest seafood in Kyoto

The fresh seafood used in this restaurant’s dishes are all directly purchased from coastal fishing ports such as Hokkaido Prefecture in the north and Ise, an area located in Mie Prefecture. For example, when the chefs order fresh fish from Ise in the morning, it’s guaranteed to arrive at the restaurant by the afternoon. Because of its freshness, dishes that can rarely be enjoyed in the Kansai region can be enjoyed (such as hokke mackerel sashimi or herring sashimi).

・Please contact the restaurant directly if you will be more than 15 minutes late. If you are more than 30 minutes late, your reservation will be cancelled and a 100% cancellation will incur.

The restaurant asks that all guests within the same group select the same kaiseki dinner course. This is to ensure that all guests are able to enjoy each dish in its freshest state, and, as each dish is prepared one-by-one, everyone is able to savor each dish together.
