A traditional Japanese-style restaurant located in Takayama city that serves the best seasonal dishes using delicacies from both the mountains & the sea. You’ll be able to savor Takayama’s famous Hida Beef alongside fresh sashimi & mountain vegetables that have been prepared in a variety of different ways. Depending on the season, you’ll be served crispy, deep fried tempura, wagyu beef cooked on a traditional ishiyaki (hot stones), Takayama vegetables simmered in dashi broth, and more.
Relax at the ‘horigotatsu’ sunken seats, which overlook the garden of Takayama Jinya, a former government building that has been around since the Edo Period. There is even a private room that can accommodate large groups, which is perfect for when you want to celebrate a special occasion in Takayama city.
