A message from the Chef

With the idea of “hospitality through thoughtfully prepared dishes,” I personally select all the ingredients and create the daily menu using the finest ingredients of the day. I also take great care in choosing the tableware, so I hope you can feel the four seasons of Japan through my cooking. I will do my utmost to make your time with us an unforgettable experience.

About

A traditional Japanese-style restaurant located in Takayama city that serves the best seasonal dishes using delicacies from both the mountains & the sea. You’ll be able to savor Takayama’s famous Hida Beef,  and fresh sashimi & mountain vegetables that have been prepared in a variety of different ways.

Relax at the ‘horigotatsu’ sunken seats, which overlook the garden of Takayama Jinya, a former government building that has been around since the Edo Period. There is even a private room that can accommodate large groups, which is perfect for when you want to celebrate a special occasion in Takayama city.
